Tree Removal in Stone Mountain (DeKalb County, GA)
DeKalb County’s Tree Protection Ordinance is designed to balance property owners’ needs with the preservation of the county’s valuable tree canopy. While homeowners are granted some flexibility in removing trees, the regulations are more stringent for new developments to ensure environmental sustainability.
For private properties, homeowners may remove up to five trees per year, provided they are smaller than 30 inches in diameter. Additionally, trees under 8 inches in diameter can be removed without restriction, unless the removal is part of an earthmoving project.

# Everything was great – lowest cost of four quotes, showed up on time, did the job as promised with zero damage to our yard.
Other companies wanted to use a crane due to access issues, which would have damaged the yard. These guys brought in a crew, cut it up in sections and carried it out. And still finished in less than a full day.
We highly recommend them.
